Some voices are saying that we must force Canada to change its immigration laws to confine immigrants pending acceptance rather than letting them run around loose.
Who? Because they are wrong.

OTOH, if Canada is not willing to tighten its immigration and border controls, then the screening process will have to occur at the US embassy and consulates and at US entry points. Which means long lines at the border.

And how are we to force this on Canada, a long-time ally of ours? Invade?
