Dear Monica Detwiler: 1% of 9 million P4s is 90K. With 90K they can send 30K to Dell, 30K to the the other OEMs and send the rest to the SD shops. The problem is that P4s come in two major flavors, 478 pin and 423 pin and three ways OEM, tray and retail. So for one dealer needs to stock 6 different SKUs for the same CPU speed bin. That is twice the number required for AXP 1900+. Thus there are only 14 vendors for Intel 2G P4 and 18 vendors for AMD XP 1900+. So you can see why P4 better have more listings. Pete
