You can use the free Zonealarm unless you want to be able to look up who has been attempting to probe your machines. I signed and paid for Pro because I was getting so many probe attempts. Turns out most were coming from my isp , but quite a few weren't and I appreciate the peace of mind I got from knowing who they were. As far as blocking your son's access to porn sites, I don't think ZA will do that but I'd be surprised if there wasn't a way. I just went through the drill of researching cookie blocking tools to the point I've blocked all cookies from my computer. The only problem with porn sites is there are a lot of them (I've heard) and they link to each other. Rotsa ruck. Oh, and Happy New Year!
