As long as people with exploding shoes can board a plane relatively easily anywhere in the world none of us are safe. Where I live there are no line-ups to get into the U.S. or back into Canada. I would also commend the U.S. border patrol as being the most efficient professional public servants I have ever met. You're right on one count Canada must tighten up all passport, visa and immigration services in light of 9/11.
