NWS isn't very good if you want exposure to the Aussie Dollar or market as a whole despite having the second highest capitalization of Australian companies and the biggest weight in the ASX200 index. Most earnings are offshore and it tracks US indices and in particularly the NASDAQ index recently very well. I use it as a NASDAQ proxy in my trading.
