Technically it is consolidating, waiting to try to break the 100 day EMA again. If the market moves up I expect it to move up too, as it still has good institutional support.

From a business model point of view SUNW is probably not as dominant as it once was. DELL has entered the server market and has IBM and as you mentioned LINUX is starting to gain traction due to the lack of a licensing fee (important these days due to the cost conscious nature of businesses). I don`t have share numbers as I don't follow this one closely, but it is tied to the growth of internet demand.
