It's a constant of nature. A constant fraction of Federal Spending will be for pork no mater who is in control. Call it P. People can argue about the value of P. I'd say it's about 40%. Whatever the value is, you can't change it any more than you can change the value of C.

Only way I can see to keep the pork damage under control is to pare down total spending. You have any solutions?

LOL! Yeah. Just like the Farm Security Act the dems like Daschle and Conrad are pushing. We need to get the econmy moving. That means giving employers like IBM abd GM and others an incentive to hire more people....
