John, He must be a brilliant stock picker if he's been selling puts all year and only has one big loser. It is certainly possible, but low probability. I kind of agree on gold being worth more than zero and on the fact that I would like to see Newmont walk away from the Normandy deal, as the price is getting to the no benefit range and beyond. BTW, I heard on one of the biz tout channels this morning that Newmont is derived from New York/Montana. And I always thought it was somebody's name. <g>
