Monica: Here's a link - and it is a post to you, fyodor. My My.

Ouch ;-)

My mistake on the Dresden capacity (twice, even - you'd think I'd remember it after having been corrected the first time!). The web site, both earlier and now, clearly lists it as 6,000 wpw. It would be interesting to note whether AMD management or PR has ever used this number, or if it can be found solely on AMD's site overview. As the post you quote mention, the Fab30 site still says 5k wpw (Fab 30 has a capcity [sic] of approximately 5000 wafer starts per week).

I find the ramping claims in the Q3 CC somewhat at odds with other claims made by AMD management. I'll try and dig up some links later&#133

Monica, re: Dresden capacity & status

Just a brief followup to my earlier post that you referenced. I have not found anything new to add but still hope that the analysts ask some good questions in this regard at the next CC. All too often they seem to get lost with "tree" questions rather than "forest." It would also seem time for AMD to finally say that Dresden is fully ramped since they have reiterated the 100% at 4Q01 (which I have assumed as wafer starts at the end of the quarter - the latest this could be true rather than earlier in the quarter).
