What "all our best weapons technology" are speaking of? First rate launch analysis. You're being a bit generous there. There are a number of countries that have a launch capability. India, Pakistan, North Korea, China, France, Britain, Israel, Iraq, Japan, Russia [who did I miss?]....perhaps one can actually develop a launch capability independent of the US. Loral, like most contractors, are a bunch of whores. They'll push and lobby and cheat if they need to, to make a buck. And again, there is a major difference between launching a satellite and launching an ICBM. jttmab
