""I understand that some of us consider this world just a staging area and test bed for the next life and, therefore, don't care if we all get along."

This statement implies that the test bed for the next life is not founded on concern for the decent treatment of ones fellows. This is a fundamental flaw. The fundamental principles of all major world religions require at the git go a love for the well being of fellow human beings. All prescribe methodology for struggling through the difficulties of human relations toward this end. If you mean by "fundamentalist flaw" that fundamentalists overlook this set of fundamental principles I concur. However, I am not comfortable with this definition of "fundamentalist" for the same reason that I am uncomfortable with the term "Family Planning Agency." In general these fundamentalists do not love the fundamental ordinances of their religion and family planning agencies do not make plans for couples to establish families.
