Is Ford a company which you would consider buying for both dividend and selling calls? When it was around 14.9 or so, I was looking at buying the stock, selling the calls (15 strike) and collecting the (reduced) dividend. I am not looking for my stocks to appreciate much. I mostly want stocks which won't crater while I collect call money and collect the small dividends. That is why IBM and MSFT are too dangerous for me. I know they have a lot of institutional support, but MSFT could eaisily drop to 55 in a correction and IBM to 105 or so. I have a good deal of cash on the sidelines but can not gamble it away <G>. Any other thoughts are welcome. I do suspect we will get some retracement in Jan. or Feb. and am putting together my list of good companies which I would not mind holding for a year or more and which are reasonably priced. Thanks again, Steve D.
