I have a friend who runs a sewage plant that serves 200,000 people. The water that comes out of the plant is cleaner than tap water.

What's neat is they also use a farm to get rid of the sludge. They monitor everything you could think of from ground water to heavy metals. Half the farm is grain and half is walnut trees which will be sold for veneer logs.
