Maybe its just me but when you mention there isn't a whole lot of fear I think back to Sept of 98. I have never seen fear like that before or since. There have been pockets of concern but never the "awww F*ck it" fear that I saw in Sept and Oct of 98.

IMO, the constellation of concerns you posted is far more extensive, and serious, than the Russian and Long Term Capital crisis that tanked the market in 1998.

FWIW, this is not a time to be getting long in my VHO.
