Not to ruffle anybody's feathers, but Europe is broken down into separate countries, and things seem to work fine there. If Quebec wants to become a separate nation, why don't we let them? It's not like the province will be any different. Our landmass will still be one.

The Canadian government waistes so much money trying to appease everybody. I drive around western Canada, where everybody basically speaks English, and what do I see? Street signs in French & English. What a waiste of bloody tax dollars! French language should stay in Quebec, and that way the province is very distinct! Totally different from the rest of Canada. It only pisses English people off to have a foreign language shoved down our throats. It also pisses the French off if English is shoved in thier face.

I believe Canada & Quebec could be better off as separate nations. I like to think of it as a teenager growing up. Do we force kids to stay at home & live with their parents when they turn into adults?

In North America, there is already 3 separate countries, Canada the US, and Mexico. It wouldn't bother me if there were 4 separate countries. I personnaly think the governments have brain washed Canadians into believeing it is a bigger deal than it really is. Our ancestor's went to war to give us freedom! By forcing Quebec into staying in Canada, is that FREEDOM?

Dean

a BROAD BREADTH ENCOMPASSING High Alert :o)

Claude,

Whole lotta Shaking going on with gold and Gata, and we know
what that means, as in o49r/gold_tutor's quest to prevent each of us
from hurting ourselves, especially to warn naive and semi-helpless
people like me from the likes of you & a russ :o)

ok,
So here is another & NEW item about IAMGOLD i think,
and if so then Gata Bill scooped this GPM thread again :o)

[Start.]

groups.yahoo.com

Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:

Yesterday IAMGOLD Corp. announced...

Today IAMGOLD announced that it will give its shareholders
the option of receiving their dividends in bullion as well.

This double blow struck for gold as money was even more encouraging
for us at GATA because IAMGOLD raised the possibility of using
our friend and consultant James Turk's gold storage and exchange facility,
GoldMoney.com... [an] opportunity for bringing gold back to the world
as a fully competitive currency...

[Stop.]

Claude,

Hello again, and i need help in a simple educational manner.

The above mention of the gold storage and exchange facility
with name GoldMoney.com is obtained by me as something
quite foggy since i hold no gold, only funny paper US dollars,
and so far everthing from a Gata Bill Speak points to physical
gold as the place to store one's wealth rather than paper.

ok,
So even before i or others reading this post gets too confused,
please add some details of what the following means, and also
include any special considerations if the person is United States,
Canadian or South Africa etc location, if possible.

ok,
Below among many other places mentioned is above GoldMoney.com
and there is just too many or too much happening here,
so if possible please create in words a flow of events that one
holding paper fiat currency would need to understand to place
some of that into physical gold for storage to be used as either
just a store of value or as money or both.

I'am sure this is on-topic for this GPM thread for the simple reason
that these uses or methods to facilitate physical gold represents
attitudes of people towards physical gold, and this is simple perception
which we all know counts a great deal to determine price.
