Did AMZN set any sort of new records by paying $6 Mil to be able to redirect old Egghead users to Amazon.com? Seems to me that must be some sort of record. I don't think any noticable number of customers will come over; its rather obviously a different and seperate site. I have no clue if it is a record. I doubt there were anywhere close to 6 million active customers at Egghead. History has shown that those that declare bankruptcy are lacking active customers. That is usually the cause. Hmmm..MCLD will look.
