My point was that another word for the word "racial" (remarks,etc) should be used, both in terms of the history of the misconcpetion about "human races" and maybe more in line with the historical roots and mechanisms (and please, no poltically incorrect or correct) A good story must obviously have something unbelievable in it, usually most stories on foreigners are unbelievable, but still mirror something in the culture they are told. Some are called and classified as "urban" or "modern legends", which also shows a somewhat misleading use of the word "legend". Ilmarinen Once upon a time, before 1989, this american and russian met and discussed tractors, corn, fertilizers, pestizides and election systems. At the end the russian said "we, poor we, we only have one dictatorial, authorative party, you, wealthy you, you have two.." But now, like any modern nation, russia has almost a handful of viable, major parties, plus even more smaller ones, free to create or to collect nutcases so that these do not feel lost and unrepresented. (that is, small parties are considered as serving at least 2-3 major functions, they are free to create and suggest new solutions, which usually is difficult for the major ones, and also guarantee a lesser level of frustration) Btw, it is pretty incredible how many minority groups there are in russia, as well as how totally it lacks natural borders, and thus have been attacked on the average two times per generation for such a long time. (luckily the swedes stopped doing that in 1809 so finland inbetween didn't have to be walked through and over, back and forth, most of the time for more than 100 years, 4 generations) (the real joke is obviously if that "dictatorial,authorative" applies to both two parties, similar to some american jokes)
