God was definitely protecting you! I trusted this friend and younger siblings. I can see now, as hindsight is 20:20, but that was not helpful then. I really needed to be aware before we set-off on this day trip, that they were not prepared. I cannot stress how out of character this was, for any of us. I grew up with this family, and we were all cautious, responsible, mature, or so we thought! God was definitely watching out for me!! That is part of why I am teaching my son to think, and to be a great decison maker. He also understands that he can rely on the Lord, and we are never alone! It's also a good time to teach our sons and daughters about leadership vs. following the crowd, and peer pressure. Westi
