Message 16833969;

I said yesterday that this was Elmers theory and I'd let him defend it. I will give you my opinion. He has a point. If I buy shares and sell calls, month after month or year after year, and eventually some call is exercised, why do you insist the shares exchanged are the shares currently purchased? This makes no sense to me that you cling to this belief. If it was my personal account, I would feel perfectly justified in claiming they were the shares purchased at the time the option was granted, unless I could claim some tax advantage otherwise. I think you have some kind of chip on your shoulder regarding Intel. You want to find some way to criticize them and you will manufacture an issue where no real problem exists. What is your problem here? How about AMD? They seem to be subsidizing Jerry Sanders in much the same way. Why are you picking on Intel and at the same time ignoring AMD's pumping all this money into Sanders pockets? Doesn't it work both ways? Why are you so silent about that?
