Elmer, F-30 ??, sounds like you are describing Intel fabs with large parts with more killed dice on each one, a double whammy. Wow, you got it this time! You get 20-30% better right off the bat from the smaller dice size. Huh? How do you figure? That is impossible for Intel to overcome. All the can do is run wide out and try to make enough of the best parts. recent reports indicate they are failing at this and opening a large window for AMD. Why not expand your vision to somewhere beyond the end of your nose? Northwood will be out in 2 weeks. The warehouses are being stocked as we type. The floodgates are already open but the flow hasn't shown up downstream yet. You're talking about the past. Start looking to the future because that's the direction we're headed. EP
