jtmab, you really are a mind reader!

Half of the children in Afghanistan are orphans. Many of the former Taliban fighters grew up without
a family.

AIDS is an epidemic in Africa. Many years ago, I read that the economy of Thailand might be
threatened because so many parents tested positive for aids. And many young children are
kidnapped for the sex market.. Last week's conference about the slave market for children
suggested that the problem has intensified.

The sex trade for children increases around 10% per year authorities in the US reported, and parents
are directly responsible since many children find contacts over the Internet.

One very sad problem in the US is that society and the government refuse to blame parents for their children's problems.

If its the kids take drugs, the parents blame the police and drug dealers.

If the kids fail in school, the parents blame the school teachers.

If the children meet up with an adult for sex, the sex offender is arrested but
the parents are not accountable to the law.
