Nice post. I couldn't agree more, but unfortunately there are a couple of hundred million clowns who aren't clear on those distinctions. As you say, these markets were fubar long before 9/11, but patriotism being the last refuge of the scoundrel and all ...

PS, Shack: beer costs way too much in B.C. -- can get a two-four for that price back here in the east. <g>
