a tax selling bounce is a relief rally following tax selling pressure. it usually commences anytime from the middle of december to the very last day of the month and continues into the first or second week of january. it is more commonly known as the "january effect".

Rairden, who in the hell has any gains to offset in 2001? I know of very few people with this problem, including me.
