If all of them sing in the wrong key those who aren't tone deaf tune out and those that are join in. This can skew their perception of the beauty of the music they make. On the other hand, even those with bad tones deserve a special place where they can share their discordant noise and call it music, I suppose. It's just that when they come to places where the music is good and they start that caterwalling that people get to the point where they have to put their hands over their ears. I suppose that I'm saying "no, they don't realize they are being effectively ridiculed" and "no, they don't realize that between the tone deaf that appreciate their music and those of us who find it amusing, there is probably a much larger audience that is too busy and too enlightened to do much more than look in and smile on occasion." As for me, this is more fun sometimes than pulling weeds in the garden. Of course I was always the one looking for something to take the teacher off task and make life more interesting and amusing. g. I should have never interrupted your duel with Slider. It was a guaranteed laugh a line. I just had to post a "lest we forget isoWhoTriedForJanie (can you say rejected?) post. Please feel free to continue to carve at your leisure in the event he slips out from behind that post. Ed PS I do have to say that I like the new Slider a lot better than the one from last year. I think there is a definite rise in quality. (For those who are sensitive to such things, I apologize in advance for giving the "rise" opening.

You can keep trying to spin reality in your finest Clintonesque fashion; but the numbers & the facts do NOT lie - the "play" was a classic cyclical sector rotation last fall... from Black Gold's top to Yellow Gold's bottom and here are the results: < read 'em & weep > 60 week chart: HUI + 77% (unhedged gold stocks) Dow - 5% S&P - 16% XNG - 17% (Natural Gas) OSX - 25% (Oil Service & Drilling - up from down 50%) NAZ - 35% QQQ - 45% (The fav' of HTP) ...that's the cold, hard reality Kodiak and if you insist on continuing to bore us with more of your pompous & condensending flatulent verbosity... so be it ~ Fwiw; I'd take a day in the sun in the leftfield bleachers of Wrigley amongst da'bums (46" waists, belches, farts & all) verus having to listen to, or be around a phony blowhard windbag like you...anyday. cie le vie` & enjoy your rocks ~
