Knock yourself out but don't forget each chip set has 2 or more devices in it so 40 million devices really means at most 20 million chip sets to support all the processors sold. Not unrealistic by any stretch.

Regarding the rest of your post, I remain amazed how anyone can keep pulling numbers out of his butt and passing them off as data. Who do you think your fooling?
