on GLW

I have a 2k position from mid 7's
also had another few K as trading shares
for those I buy/sell, try to make a days pay
but the others are put away cause I agree that in the future it will be higher
it's a matter of how many $'s or what % of ones portfolio one puts on any single bet, for a pure hold

so please continue to "bother"

yeah, but those who bot GLW 2 years ago and still holding wish many, many times they would have taken the profits a year ago.

now if you were entering the stock for the first time at current prices that's different.

Since Sept 11 we can see how vulnerable the markets can be to external events. buy hold and forget isn't always the best plan. i don't like to see profits evaporate to losses. have done that tooooo many times.

and missed money is been better than actually loosing $$$
can't go broke making a profit even small ones
