Computer orders on the increase.

You have to admit the restaurant selection is better at the new location in addition to being closer to the county clubs.

<<They are losing the type of hands on knowledge they gained from walking through the banks of phones to get to their offices and conference rooms...>>

I think you're on to something there, tigerpaw. I've been thinking the same thing. I liked buying Dell's because they were easy to order, the support was the best, and the whole buying experience was ...well, simple and reliable.

I'm looking for a new PC for my son and find the Dell catalog a mess to wade through compared to the past. I went to their on-line site and put in search terms for products and accessories verbatim from the catalog; most times I either got a "no results" type response or a list of 30 items that somehow distantly related to what I was looking for. Looked to me like they're focusing on side-products like digital cameras and neglecting their core PC business. Or, maybe that's their strategy.

Smells to me like opportunity. Anyone want to start a PC company named "Simple"? Gotta' be a market out there.
