Not all of us who are professors in liberal colleges are liberals. True. I've known a few conservative professors. Not many, but some. They are commonly pariahs and treated like lepers. And let me tell you, it ain't easy!!!! I can well believe that. It must be hell. I continue to step on PC toes willingly and unwillingly. Most excellent! It's a tough, hard job, but somebody should do it. It injects truth into a corrupt process. Just trying to talk sense makes you homophobic and a racist. Do I expect my graduate students of color to hand in quality work? Absolutely! Do I expect my graduate students that live an alternative lifestyle to dress appropriately for their placement in school systems? Absolutely! Have I been called on the carpet for speaking honestly to a student who has an in-your-face attitude and is in danger of losing their teaching job? Absolutely!>/i> Then your doing your up a high professional standard. Keep it up. We need all of you we can get. You are dealing with the future of our nation and you are working to save it.
