The reason I don't think that that top on 6 Dec is wave 5 is because wave 3 on the NAS is a leading diagonal and therefore only the beginning of an extended wave 3 IMO. So the next hypothesis would be that it is 3 of 3, but it has been almost completely retraced and that means 5 of 3 will have to be bigger than 3 of 3, which also breaks the rules. So I see it as actually the B wave of 2 of 3, we should now be just starting 3 of 3 in the last several days. 5 waves down are complete from the Dec 6 high as would be expected, though they overlap. All the other TA I look at supports this interpretation.
