UF - Q is still has a fantastic technology that is changing the world. It is not going to go but and it is going to make money every year. The only question is how much ie will its revenues and earnings actually grow? Maybe they won't grow very much and what we have is a sort of REIT. They lower sales of cheap handsets is offset by the sale of more expensive data models but not so many of them. China goes cdma but the earnings are a bit lower because Chinese gdp per person is much lower than in the West. Q is still great but it just sort fo stays where it is right now. There is a target of chip sales of 90m. How about 2003 and 2004 how many chip sales are projected. Are we seeing any estimates with 50% per annum growth in these chips? Can we extrapolate anything from the Korean 1X sales so far? And lastly is there a fixed date yet for PCS and VZ? I do not suppose a lot of US commentators will be going to Korea ofr the soccer but some will and it might help if they had bought 1X handsets before they go. BTW we now have VoiceStream buying MobileStar and PCS is an investor in Boingo. Lets see what VZ and the other baby bells do next. Ther is no qustion that this area is going to expand and will eat ssome of the mobile lunch. It might have been different had 1X been out there four months ago when it was supposed to be. BEst, L
