KT, i'm more of a trend watcher than a signal caller with regards to the p/c ratio. i basically agree with what you say about it's pure value. i have found it meaningful as a short term indicator of relative short interest when combined with other sentiment indicators like the VIX and A/D line.

too bad you can't pull up that chart which is a close up of the A/D line. needless to say, it's making a good run at breaking out of some serious short term congestion.

regarding mcmillan, i don't follow him much; however, he is successful and what i find interesting is that his sell signals have not been working. in fact, recently everyone's sell signals have not been working. and right now, bears say we're topping out. traders say we're due for a pullback. investors?, they're numb and meaningless anyway...LOL

nonetheless, i see a classic liquidity scam and think the market is about to make a serious upside move. given that i'm long, if that happens i won't need al green the printing machine to bail me out <G>
