It's pretty ironic that most teachers are liberal Democrats and espouse to all the social programs that are put in place to help single Moms, distribute welfare checks, advocate for child care programs and free health benefits. But they do not speak very kindly of those women when they are the mothers of children in their classroom.

Very unkind words are heard in the "Teachers' Room". I advocate for teachers' work stations that have no door to close!

Has it ocurred to you that the child probably told the teacher her mother had a "date" every morning at 7 because that's what the mother told the child? Children commonly tell their teachers all kinds of family "secrets"...
