Breaking news???? WTF
Computer sales up a whopping 2% in November than October.

LMAO.
That is good news?
That sounds like a total 100% disaster.
How bad was October?
And we could only beat that by 2%.

Finally, why does it take til Dec 28th to report this
"Breaking News"

What a FN farce of a joke.

HDL:

LOL!!

"Up" is relative. Can you recall the heady days of 35% to 45% growth in revenues in the PC sector? Seem like it was only a year or two ago?

These days, UNIT sales have been down so frequently and for so long that one is bound to see tiny blips from time to time. And nobody even whispers "revenues", never mind that dirty word "profits"

Note also the source of the article.... that region has been carpet bombed into the dirt by the tech wreck, so one has to expect those shell-shocked folks to be looking for any sign that things might be "bottoming".

We need some new "killer apps" before there will be any kind of rebound in PC sales and I for one do not see any on the horizon. PCs look to me to be following the same "commoditized" track as did color TV sets.

Best, Earlie
