carra - the real problem is from here on. Each earning announcement has taken on ever more importance. The last one accompanied by Mr Thornleys comments felt like yesterdays lunch.

The great guys we used to hear at the CCs are gone except of course for Dr J who has been very very quiet lately except for the aeroplane demonstration.

Now Mr Thornley, an accountant, presents at the CC. Whilst I admire accoutants it is a little worrying when they rise to presentation levels at CCs. Yes do the books and answer questions stricly relating to the books and thats that.

Dr J should do the presenting and any books analysis dealt with afterwards or in writing by Mr Thornley.

Lets hear from the engineers, from the development people, from the sales people at the cutting edge, from the Chinese office, from the Japanese office, from the SP liaison people, from the Patent people. Lets get some sparkle back.

I am just concerned that this whole thing is grinding to flat performance for years and the stock price will react accordingly.

MM has a good feel and if he is expecting a price in the $40s then I woouldn't want ot bet against him.

What have been all these broker recommendations recently? Are we being pumped so that the big guys get out again?

How about the short position?

All the past would be OK but volatility of $38 - $64 is not pleasant.

Best,

L

I am very fortunate that I didn't sell my Q at or near the top. At that time my profits were ST and a 50% tax would have be due
very soon. Meantime, knowing myself, I would have bought in again say at 130 bringing on a double diaster. Currently I have a
LT four bagger in Q and am content to let it ride. Watching now is like looking for an oasis in the desert. Momentum is building and
eventually the Q will provide a nice harvest. Happy New Year....RB
