Not sure it violates the securities laws. He/she has made public the information and any trades will be made after the fact. The rules violated may be ethical, corporate or institutional rules. IMO the sort of information disclosed, if it is accurate, should have been disclosed to all by the companies involved and or the FDA. Making such things confidential just gives an inside edge to other insiders who keep quiet.
