Don, I asked Gottfried this question this morning; How high do you think AMAT will go on this current run? Bearish investors would suggest the recent upturn has been on light volume but I suspect on Wednesday the volume will return. Sooner or later the market has to break out of this Bear Market we have been in. AMAT is just as likely to lead the charge higher as any other large cap semiconductor equipment company. I think that AMAT might be able to move above the 200 day MVA before the MACD even turns positive.

Basically what I was planning on using as a short term trade might have to be held longer for more gain. This would be especially true if the stock rises above 47. I'm watching carefully but hopeful we will finally see a breakout in early 2002.

Thanks again for the charts and all the hard work that goes into collecting and sharing the data within them. On NANO I intend to watch it carefully for an entry once it is oversold enough and begins to tick back up. The stock has such a small float that institutional ownership moves could make or break it at any point in time.
