On "The View", weeks after 9/11, Barbara Walters explained to her peers and to the audience, why she was the only one of the four...who did not have an American flag on her outfit. She said that her news network, ABC, had asked that none of the media people wear a pin showing a flag. The rational was that if someone forgot their pin, they might be viewed as anti- American. Thus, it was decided that all of them would not display any symbol of patriotism. I said, " Hogwash!" to the tv...but her peers just nodded in agreement.
