SR--Let us hope your analysis is correct.. However, we are dealing with madmen....Today, on hindsight, it still makes no sense to most of us that Japan really believed she could beat the US....and yet, she tried. Now, Germany on the other hand, could possibly have won eventually....but for our American Armed Forces and Homefront support, our Allies, and Grace of God.... The best defense is a good offense, and the best offense is a good defense. So for all my potential doomsday theorizing, let's just say that there are so many drawbacks to going nuclear that any attempt to go that route is likely to be the last gasp of evil groups who know they've lost and decide to take others with them...
