Elmer your link seems to show that AMD has doubled in that period, not gone nowhere. Of course doubling in 17 years that contained an enormous bull market isn't so good and pales by comparison with Intel. I'm not saying it was a good return, in fact all things considered a return like that stinks, but it didn't "go nowhere". Also most people on this thread who own AMD didn't own it 17 years ago. Many of them bought when the Athlon came out or when it started to find it's way in to systems. If you bought AMD then you would have done ok.
