right on the money with Peter & tuck.

Thanks.

Think of this year's winners in this fashion??.....

Biotech has four types of companies:

1. Big-science companies with sincere, enlightened management;

2. License boutiques or limited-science companies with at least one good product candidate and enlightened and/or sincere management;

3. Sincere efforts with decent science and clueless management; and

4. Scams.

SI Biotech has played a pretty decent role in directing investment dollars away from the latter two types of companies and into the class acts. We can be -- and have often been -- a very visible filter. Our loudest voices therefore play a supportive role for the best of bench scientists, accelerating medical research. Peter and Tuck have the guts to collect relevant information and make very public calls.

Portfolio "2000" broke $500K on Friday, up 401% to date. Maybe Imclone sellers will head for small caps, and it'll hold that milestone over the last few hours of trading for the year........
