Yup, I know a lot of Hindu Bangladeshis.

Who represses them?

Muslim fundamentalists and non-fundamentalists too. That's why they are all here and in the US :)

Lots of good Indian food (specifically Bengali food) in a McHouse in the new suburb of Harcourt Hill.

Though it wasn't just the after dinner activity that was gender segregated. I'm used to that from ultraorthodox Jewish circles though.

Currently they seem a very gloomy lot. And it's not just Jay, I get the same impression from the media here. I think it is due to HKs declining role and importance since the handback to China.

We're used to being unimportant in Hobbit-town and the Land of Oz.
