Hi RTS,

Did you listen to the SLR conference call? I am listening to the JBL call now. It does not appear that telecom and networking are recovering overall as the guidance from CSCO might indicate. Interesting that telecom and networking customers are driving inventory levels to historical lows. The fact that JBL rev will not track customer revs in that segment for a few Q's indicates they still may have a lot of stock in the warehouses. Forward guidance does not seem to indicate any pick up soon. PC demand is a little distorted with JBL as they are doing some end of life production for lap tops so there are not clues on PC demand there. Peripheral demand will be down next Q due to seasonality and reduced demand, so PC sales must be weak. Interesting that automotive demand will be a growth area next year despite the anticipates weak automotive consumer market (more electronics per car driving the trend). Overall recovery in revenues now being pushed out to May Q from Feb Q for JBL. I don't see the bottom people are talking about given the guidance in this call.

Interesting that you look to be going long AMAT for the bounce in the SOX on the AMAT thread. I am considering going short for a few points only.
