Dan, I'm very angry with CompUSA. My P3 ate my power supply a while back. I got a 300w supply for $40 at CompUSA. Today the sucker is $20 after "instant" savings. And a 300W ATX case is $35. First your money, then your clothes.............. <VBG> Steve PS At least CompUSA put a P4 SDRAM Dud on their front page......

It's infuriating! (even if, technically, it doesn't violate the terms of the agreement)." Looks like "the flood" has begun...Just not "the flood" that our adversaries were promising!!!

It's good to see they're still selling Athlons even though they've pretty much pulled them off the floor. But I'm disappointed with Page 8 -- the notebooks. Not an AMD product on the page. tgptndr

Hats off to you, Dan, for your tireless efforts to make a mountain out of a molehill. Your diligence in snooping Comp USA website would put Steve Harris to shame, which is not too difficult though. Since the ad you refer is found in Comp USA’s current advertising circular it is more than likely that Compaq paid for its inclusion. This basically is same ad you see in Best Buy flyers. I don’t believe either Comp USA or Best Buy stock any Athlon XP’s. Nada. Nor does Gateway, HP, IBM and of course Dell. Wonder why? Herb
