Gem-X, Bush is very pro-business. Think about what happened with MSFT after he got into office. What about the environment? Business wants relaxed regulations and enforcement, and Bush has been all for that. Tax cuts, capital gains cuts, etc.

Bush is all about business, but he is also about poll numbers. What he wants and what he can do are not always one and the same.

Techie, it is going to be tough for this market to go down hard near term. Play the trend, and watch 1934 on the low side and 2012 on the high side. Take out either of those on volume, and you have a better idea of the trend. We're going up right now, and the daily says it should continue for a couple of weeks.

softechie,

>>Gem-X is looking for a very wet dream. Ain't gonna do it with this current Administration. Bush IS NOT pro-business like Clinton.<<

Surely you jest. Where was Clinton ever pro-business? Small business was run over, pharmaceuticals, tobacco were certainly not. Microsoft, certainly not as administration tried to beak then up on behalf of SUNW etc and it was on the excuse that we were paying too much for the software - a point that was never proven, nor were individuals ever asked for the truth of the matter.
