Hi Buddy,

Yup you are right on.

Very often in the past, charts show a nice rise up,back fill and then get into a fast price rise.

I've called those patterns knees before.

Intel is doing one right now as well.

I'd be careful with Ford - they have some paper credit problems that I think will last longer than they'd like to admit - but I'm a GM dealer and perhaps can't see clearly on the value story.

It looks to me like many stocks have gained in strength.I think we pop up hard in the beginning of January.

The turn in the economy is on the mend and I'm surprised how many people are taking a "show me" attitude.

Oh well there has to be somebody with fresh cash to sell to at the top.gggg

Thanks for the great updates - I'm beginning to see more and more value in your excellent work.

They are a great contribution to the thread.

I'm really very excited how well Cohu has resisted any tax selling in December. It has very nicely been supported at the confluence of the 50 and 200 day moving averages.Money stream is now leading the price of the stock higher.

I don't know why Mr Market is doing it - surely no one is predicting a turn in semi capital equip yet.But then this stock always requires anticipation - that is what we're seeing.

The one truth about all stocks is it's just a matter of supply and demand. It seems that some one with big pockets is doing some accumulation.

December 21 's volume of 316,400 tipped the hand I think.

I wish great success to all in 2002.

Let's hope Cohu can gain technical strength over this year.

Bob
