AFFX short from friday's double~pump to 40.80/41 retraced nicely...I knew it was overdone there and got to bop it twice later in the day when I logged on and joined the room. IMCL A/H helped but AFFX was getting too far ahead of itself . Very unstable situation in India , I hope the world understands that Pakistan has no claim whatsover upon Kashmir. This could erupt as early as later this week , and every possibility that 1000's more than we suffered in WTC could die over there if they lose control. It could get very nasty after India's Parliment was attacked. Somehow , some way , we need to wean ourselves off of Arabian oil . It's too easy , but that's the kind of money we all like right ? Without oil money these little dogmatic Arabian potentates could not export their "brand" of religious and political terrorism thru schools and training organizations that their oil money has made possible and funded all these years . We need to develop an alternative to the dependence on middle eastern petroleum . Maybe science will come up with a miracle.....then we could just cut these guys loose , and they can play "God" all they want in their desert waste~lands. One thing is for certain , India has been pushed to the limit , Musharrif had better act decisively and curb his dogs. I'm sure Bush and company knows very well that the Pakistanis will hide Bin Laden more than they will be prone to give him up. Pakistan is a plague~house of American hatred . Careful being long into the end of this week , until a clearer picture of what is going to be done to assuage this possible military clash between Pakistan and India . But if there was ever a time to get ruthlessly tough with these Islamic fundamentalist bastiges , the time has come. Musharrif had better act quickly and in good faith. But not good to be long the market if they really go to war .... if India shows restraint and diplomacy , she will have set an example for all the world to follow and admire . But Pakistan is in a vice now , right where it belongs .
