In Taiwan, memory chipmakers advanced after the price of the 28-megabit dynamic random access memory chip rose to $2.18 Friday, up 4.8 percent from $2.08 Thursday, according to DRAM Exchange, a market place for memory chips. The 128-megabit DRAM price has more than doubled from its year-low on Nov. 6.
