Immigration lawyers for the most part make their living from screwing the immigrant want to be. LOL LOL They charge them to fill out papers that they could do themselves. It's quite a "racket" for some guys. As far as who pays the people that make a living off of the illegals? That's many groups. The landscapers, the clothing manufacturers, the people that hire them as maids and live ins, and in all those cases the "excuse" that is given is that "the average guy wouldn't do those jobs because they are demeaning and low pay, & that's why the illegals are overlooked". Well IMO that's a false premise. IMO- The reason they are low pay is because the illegals are doing it, and the hammer against them is that they are here illegally and can't get a real job, so they are hostage to their illegality, and that's why they are low pay . Demeaning is a term that usually disappears as wages rise. If we stopped the illegals from being here in the first place, then those jobs would still be needed to be done, but now there wouldn't be that pool of disadvantaged people to draw from. So what happens when there is a shortage of labor? The wages paid rise until the people start to feel good about accepting that job and are willing to do it. Why would anyone want to work on high tension lines? One mistake and you're toast. The reason they have enough high tension wire guys is because.... They get paid enough to take that risk, in their opinion. If maids and landscapers and sewing shop people etc etc etc made 20 dollars an hour (for example) we would find that there would be more than enough people willing to do those jobs. We would find that all of a sudden, viola! those jobs wouldn't be so "demeaning", after all. Then as the labor pool for those jobs became over filled, the hourly wage would drop until it reached the proper price that would balance the need with the supply of people.
