I forget the kindergarden level of reasoning.

From his own words Michael admitted that the weather is changing. The scope and direction are implied from the subject we were discussing. My point was that change will be expensive and it wasn't necessary for that point to indicate whether it comes from warming or a new ice age. The nature of the expense would change, but not the magnitude.
