You addressed your note to me, but I'm not going to touch it. Pas moi.

It's funny but what Mira Sorvino said is interesting. There was a sort of "art" film a few years ago with Mickey Rourke, Wild Orchids (??), shot in Brazil, and there was little doubt about what was going on. If it is true, then some of the Hollywood R rated things are in fact porno films, while the soft porn films (where it's faked) are dramatic films, real artifice, if bad acting.

Why does it not surprise me that many in Hollywood today are so bad at acting that they need to resort to the real thing, (sort of post modern cinema verite) to approximate the real thing (and still it mostly looks fake).

I'm waiting for Mira to name names. No, cancel that, I'm not really.
